End of 2010... starting of a new Year 2011

Alas... another year has ended, and we are again, facing a beginning of a new year. As we take a moment to reflect back on the things that has happened, we could shed some tears, laugh a little, and maybe even sigh... but throughout 2010's life journey, it is safe to say that I learned another important and life-changing lesson through the seasons that the Lord has led me through, by His grace alone that I could go through it.

My car was wrecked, just some time back in November... in such a split second, my mis-calculation has affected by car, but still..thank God I'm safe and sound :) Aside from that, the return to TARC marks a new chapter of God's amazing plan and faithfulness to me in that place. I'm blessed to have great students, all of them whom I really pray for everytime, that the Lord will lead n help them and also to reveal Himself to them, as the Saviour and King of heaven. I'm also grateful to our church worship team for coming together for a great time of worship and praise for Christmas TARC 2010, all I can say, it is TRULY God's work and presence with us. I'm very amazed at how He works all things out.

The year end also led me and Andrew to a very special occassion, the Christmas at straits Quay and Penang Christmas Open House and FPBC Christmas Choir presentation - all of which is a new experience for me and Andrew, playing for a public event, together with some very-talented and gifted singers and musicians. Wow... yea, I appreciate the opportunity and realized it is truly a privilege to be able to serve the Lord this way. It is after all, the desire of my heart :)

Well, spending Christmas this year was pretty fun, we had a party at Alicia's house, and the highlight was almost towards the end of the party, when we were playing this card-game... pretty neat game, cos it really tests your English and knowledge. We were all cracking up because some of the answers to the test-cards were just hilarious!!! Hahaha... talk about ROTFL!!! :D Great, my own husband.. the funny-guy.. "Have my donut!!" hahaha... *the rest of them knows what I'm talking about!* haiyo... stil laughing while driving home after that! Grin*~~ It was good, to have some time off from practice, church events, and just goof-off and let our hair down and pop a few bottles of Wild Vine ;) and just chill~...ya... we should do that more often, definitely!

Ever wondered why we look back on the past though many people told us to keep looking ahead? I'm convinced that looking back will remind us, to be thankful, keeping us humble cos we know where we come from, and to realize how much we need Jesus every part of the way. I know the past may sometimes remind us of sadness or things we regret about, but still... without those moments, it would be so different when we take that step onward into the future. So, looking on ahead into 2011, just 1 day into the New Year, what can I expect from it? What can I say that I'm looking forward to?...well...

Just.. a year that is grace-filled, rest-centered and surrounded by His amazing miracles and breakthroughs amen! For our family, our ministry, my work, and the nation. :)
